What to bring
- Medical Certificate
- Current First, Second, or Third Class Medical, or BasicMed information with valid US Drivers License.
- Valid Written Test Results
- Letter of discontinuance or Notice of disapproval if applicable.
- IACRA logon info & Application ID Number (or FAA Form 8710-1)
- Photo / Signature ID (Valid Driver’s License, etc.)
- Current Pilot Certificate
- Logbooks (Flight time records)
- Please double check that you have logged ALL aeronautical experience and requirements appropriate to the certificate / rating sought including a log of all ground training. Please have all your logbooks and flight time organized prior to the appointment.
- Required Instructor endorsements
- Review AC 61-65J with your instructor to ensure ALL required endorsements are met.
- Availability of aircraft certificates, records, logbooks and required documents, including but not limited to AD compliance log.
- Any prescribed homework for the checkride (flight planning, weight & balance, etc.)

Tests administered at other airports may incur a fee for travel. Fees will be detemined based on distance, time, and circumstance. - Private area and internet connection
If I’m meeting you at a designated airport other than F46 (Rockwall Municipal Airport), you must provide a private area free of distractions and a reliable internet connection. - Rescheduling
I will make all reasonable efforts to help rectify the situation before resorting to rescheduling the practical test. Cancelled or incomplete check ride rescheduling will be handled on a priority basis. - Retest
For a retest involving flight portion only, reach out to John via Text or email before scheduling.
